As part of this year’s Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) Learning and Performance Network (LPN) programme, 9 Blackpool schools have been part of the development and performance of The Dream, an adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which was performed by the RSC professionals in a touring production. The Dream was performed in school clusters at partnered theatres around England and the pupils involved will be performing again at the RSC in Stratford Upon Avon this July (2016). The performance of The Dream in Blackpool took place at The Grand Theatre and pupils from the following schools took part.
